What you'll need
- Non-stretch flesh-colored cotton fabric for the body
- Yellow stretch fabric (jersey type) for the dandelion flower and the belt
- Patterned fabric for the dress
- White lace fabric (with or without ruffles) for the trousers
- A strip of ruffle trim for the dress
- Gold soft craft felt or stiff felt for the crown (or gold fabric backed with soft craft felt)
- Yellow tulle, 12 cm wide, for the wings
- Black tulle, 12 cm wide, for the train and the tails
- White or cream tulle for the crown
- 3 mm white or cream stiff felt for the wings
- Black soft craft felt for the soles of the shoes
- Black stretch fabric (jersey type) for the shoes
- Green stiff felt or soft craft felt for the leaves
- About 20 g of wool for the hair; a 2 cm polystyrene ball for the dandelion
- Stiff card for the base of the foot
- Two buttons to attach the legs
- 1.2 mm iron wire
- Black iron wire for the antennae and the tail
- Thin white (or grey) iron wire for the dandelion, white or cream satin ribbon for the dandelion, green and brown floral tape to wrap the stems, litter sand
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Red Heat'n Bond Ultra Hold fusible web
- Sewing machine
- Hot glue
- Strong thread for hand sewing (white or beige)
- Black marker, pink blusher for the face and eyeshadows for shading the flower and the wings
